Marisa “Margo” 🏳️🌈
Heya! I’m a 31-year-old (she/her) full-time airstreamer living some variation of a nomadic lifestyle while serving on active duty as a U.S. Army public health officer and audiologist. I am the epitome of a weekend travel warrior, balancing my army career with a continuous craving for outdoor adventure.
I’m a Connecticut native and have called eight U.S. states home over the past 10 years. Now wherever my airstream wheels roll me, for career or wander, is home.
The story behind nomad 360° degrees traces back to my first tattoo, 360°. The ink on my skin serves as a testament to living life by a compass, enriched with an unknown journey that awaits in infinite directions.
Moon the Airstream manifested in January 2020 to answer the question, “will you live where life happens to you or will you choose one where you happen to life?” Answer: I chose to actively happen to life. To live each day with conscious purpose. To only posses materials that serve my life purpose. To foster and nurture my soul with the great outdoors at the forefront. To create more space for what matters most: purposeful connection. The future is incredibly unpredictable, retirement is too far in the distance and the present is all that is guaranteed. As my Uncle once told me, if the why is big enough the how to is easy. This lifestyle provides me with simplicity of only the necessities and a newfound freedom I never knew existed while staying uncomfortable.
